Ideally, you will need an existing enhanced DBS on the online update service. If you do not have one, a new DBS application will be made. Please speak to the Operations department who will explain the application process.

We recommend you purchase carers liability insurance. Please ask for our advice should you need guidance on where to purchase this.

Once you are registered and ready to begin we will require you to complete the mandatory Care Certificate modules and attend our Training Centre for further courses.

Our Care Assistant Requirements

A minimum of 1 year’s care experience

(Preferable but not essential)

Good communication skills

Written and spoken English at an intermediate level

Ability to attend mandatory training

(remote and in-house)

A UK bank account

Have the right-to-work in the UK

(Unfortunately, Constantia Care does not offer sponsorship)

Be willing to work on a self-employed basis

Basic IT skills

Our rate of pay is competitive and varies with the job role. Over and above all live-in carers will receive full room & board.
